Gunther Tiedemann - David Plate Duo
cello & guitar
Since 2002, the Gunther Tiedemann - David Plate Duo has been playing their own compositions by strength and intimacy with head and belly.
Stylistically, what jazz is able to absorb in terms of Latin, funk, rock, pop and folk happens. Both instruments take on melody, chord, percussion and bass functions. That's what the band is like always complete. Changing timbres are also created by playing techniques that are played by plucking, choping, slaping, walking...
The result has already been dubbed "noble chamber jazz" by observers.
